controll arm ?

The slits should actually face towards the subframe and straight out.

Hmm. Well it's close lol. What does moog's stock photo look like? Oriented correctly?

I've looked at moogs photos and probably 15 other brand they are all over the place. Some show them how yours are in the your photo and by the way the ones on my car stock look like yours. When i called moog they confirmed they should be like the way yours are in your photo and my stock arms on the car are. Mevothech said the same thing but added that it would be ok if the relief slits faced towards the ball joint . Clearly the ones in my photo and the other set i just got to replace the first wrong set are installed incorrectly. Both moog and mevotech said you will guarantee early failure if they are not oriented the right way. Even scary and food for thought when i spoke to moog about the 4 control arms i received having the forward bushing installed wrong didn't seem concerned at all as well offered not customer service to rectify the issue. They blamed it on where i purchased as well as foreign workers(its still there name on the product ) and the boxes say maid in the usa. So that's that so much for standing by your product:th_angry2: will post photo saying the were maid in the usa if anyone wants proof.

I still don't see an issue with the way they are installed.

I was a mechanic for a few years and they are never installed exactly the same, has never been a problem on any car I've worked on.

I pressed the bushings in the pic I posted, but I know that's how they go. That's how the stock ones came off obviously. You can imagine the bushing flexes easier towards the slits than against, that's why they go like that. The control arm only moves up and down.

Yours are somewhat close, might not flex as intended but should be okay. I should check my dorman arms, they've been on the car for over a year though.

That's how mine looked from Moog. They were installed opposite of each other. I eventually replaced them with the problem solver bushings and installed them the same way. I didn't notice any difference by doing so.
