Best overall shift kit

I've searched this site and the more I read the more confused I get. I want a firmer, quicker shift. And I want my "new" 70k stock tranny to hold up for a while at least. Thoughts? I looked on triple edges web site and I thought I'd get the transgo kit but the way I understand it won't give me harder shifts.

The transgo kit is the best. The only better out there is the Intense kit which gives you additional spacers/washers to further isolate the accumulators. However you don't want that harsh of a shift. I pulled most of my Intense extra stuff out when building my Regal trans from a previous big build and still get very solid shifts.

I seen clips on YouTube of gps with shift kits and it doesn't seem that much quicker than stock. The transgo kit will definitely shift quicker right?

If you want neck snapping shifts, then rebuild the trans, stack the clutches tight, open the feed holes and make your accumulator solid.

If you want a shift kit that helps you ... toss in a transgo.

you can also change the shift times/pressure in the tune to give you quick shifts. I know mine has a kit put in when it was rebuilt but not sure which one, tuned using the DHP tables, quick enough for me.

Seems like the general consensus is transgo. Any arguments against said transgo shift kit?
