2007 Grand Prix tranny issue

My 2007 GP with 210K miles has an issue when accelerating from a stop. When you step on the gas the engine revs up, and then you get a big clunk before it takes off. It seems to shift just fine between all of the other gears. Fluid was changed about a year ago, and the fluid level is right on. I've read where this could be the pressure control solenoid, but thought I'd ask to see where you guys would start. Or is it even worth dealing with at 210K miles?

My family's Impala did that for about 6 years, it was the only issue and only did it occasionally. I tried to research it but what I found was in rebuild territory. Something about a groove in the sealing area of an input clutch, and possibly something in the vale body sticking. Also seems that only 03+ transmission get this issue.
