That is my only reason I question his service, maybe that is a little over the top, but my baby brother is in the Army and has done tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan (MOS 12 Whiskey) he would never act in such a way . My grandfathers were both in the military Army and Marines. My father was in the Army and was Crew Chief on a CH-47 I grew up a military brat so that is why I question his attitude.

98 I have other things to do than argue with you on the Internet. Going to dinner with my wife is a little more important than answering some kid. Having time with her without kids this weekend is another so don't expect me to just post up comments at your beck and call. Besides just because your babysitting probably the cheapest radar station in the military you have a lot of time on your hands, doesn't mean everyone else does. One of our EE's did your job back when he was in the Marines. I can't tell you how much dead time you have in the military but they didn't come up with the phrase "Hurry up and wait" in the civilian world. Anyone that is in the military will admit that they do a lot of waiting. Yes you work your ass off for sometimes a long amount of time To get the job done and for that I'm greatful. But there is no reason to be a dick and that's what you set out to do. Now if I offended you I apologize.

That said I don't want your money you waste enough of it anyway.... Just kidding. I would like to start over and if I ask a question you either stay out of it or just don't be a jerk.

Bandook, I gotta say I like many of the posts you've made because they are hilarious but I gotta say Tyler really is in the military. He can be quite the keyboard warrior but once you get to know him, he's actually a pretty stand up guy and cool. When I first started, I wanted to beat his ass so hard and even challenged him to a fight but after awhile we calmed down lol. Not all Service Members are disciplined and many of them I know have a mouth that needs to be punched.

I guess I'm still in that phase, lol. Seriously, I've got nothing but respect for any active service member. I'm that guy if I see you in uniform, will walk across a large parking lot just to thank you and let you know you are appreciated. That's for real. But seriously, give people the benefit of the doubt and try to be civil. Jeff has been nothing but pleasant and helpful here. Sure, his fifteen hundred posts about his boostless car has perturbed me too, but how would you feel if you had a boostless supercharged car?

half the time you need to realize im sitting here laughing because peoe take thigns wrong or too literally. someone really needs to make a standard sarcasim font for me lol......

i bust everyones balls and ill call bullsh1t when i see it or think its so it doesnt matter if its comming from you a moderator or anyone else.

damn suprised that car is running with the injector issue fixed but sure in the hell beats replacing a short block huh?

edit ohh and in case you were wondering i was a verteran before i was legal to drink. im on my 5th deployment. (3rd overseas 2 cupcake rotations in wash dc) i turned 21 and 22 in fallujah from 2005 to 2007 my 1st tour was 706 days..... started out as a bradley tank mechanic and now work on radar. this is my 2nd time to afhanistan and i was in wash dc for the last 2 years prior to this working an air defence mission. ive seen the president and air force one in person 6 times in the last 2 years. if air force one flies to an area that doesnt have major faa radar support such as in palm springs california where the president frequently goes to golf and are currently looking for a house to buy we go out and set up ground based radar to fill in the air picture gaps in coverage. currently im on a c-ram weapon system mission in bagram afghanistan. google c-ram it looks like star wars at night pretty badass system its hitting a bullet with a bullet. if anything gets shot at the base we blow it out of the sky before it impacts a building, equipment or personell! its basically a radar guided gatling gun.

all of this is besides the point, my career has nothing to do with any of this. im the kind of person to tell you to fvck off and an hour later go have food poisoned lunch together.......... grudges are pointless lol. so for the love of god no need to get bent outta shape.

FLUSH THE RAILS with any hydrocarbon killing solvent.

the 04+ "dead head" systems are starting to show the weakness's of a non circulating system.

several times now ive pulled apart L32 rails (to get the dampers) and found flakes of varnish.

the rails never hold pressure after a while and the fuel then can boil in the rails at a hot shutdown. leaving deposits that love to clog **** when you disturb it/work on it. yours is probably the 15th ive heard stick open on dead head systems. rarely saw that happen on the old style return systems, or if it does, it gets swept back to the fuel can, pump sends it to the filter where its caught.

deadhead systems just accumulates more and more debris.

I'm not butthurt about the money I was just getting your attention. I knew you had looked at this thread several times and it was amazing how quickly you left when I entered this or chat. Maybe just a fluke but I have my doubts. It always seems the louder the mouth the lesser the man. You can call me a nerd all you want, I've been called one all my life. I've beatin ass over and had my ass beat. It makes no difference to me, you'll always know I was there.

Your carrier does matter, because I'm hearing civilian talk not someone that is in the military. That stays with people for life, and your active duty. So I went through all the trouble to prove myself to you, and to get actual numbers since I had so many people making me doubt myself. After all the only reason I am here is for expert opinions, and to help out to pay back the help I get.

So please answer me this: So when you worked as a Bradley tank mechanic what was your MOS? And you had a 700+ day deployment how did you pull that off? Tell me a little bit about 670-1 if you would be so kind. Since you are working a radar station what MOS is that? Lord knows it gets on the boring side you must know about 600-9 wouldn't you? What FOBs were you stationed at in Iraq and Afghanistan. How about your rank and what unit you are in? Those are a lot easier to answer than doing a compression check for sure. If you can answer those questions I bet you $20 and we're square.

As far as the car running after a leaking injector came up all of a sudden in the midst of a supercharger install. Why would this suprised you? The starter is not strong enough to bend a rod without the engine actually running. In which case the starter wouldn't have killed the motor.

My system holds pressure for hours. I have gone out after 4 hours and the system is still over 50psi. I did think to run a large pipe leaner through the rail and its spotless. Since the 05' does not have a fuel filter I figured I should check for debris. I see what you are saying though. But even then you would expect anything to be trapped by the inlet screen on each injector. I haven't messed with the injectors yet to see what is wrong with them I just moved from one to the next, the only check I made before trying them to see if they were stuck or not was a resistance check just to make sure they weren't shorted. I actually just got back my injector test stand so I'm going to make sure it still is ok since its been sitting for 10 years. Might even clean and flow test people's injectors for them like I used to.

Ok smart ass here we go.... Why don't you half left face and do push ups until Im done here......
In fact every time you go down I want you to scream stupid, every time you come up scream strong got it?

I was with the Minnesota Army National Guard 2-136 when I went to Iraq. I started out training October 2005 for 6 months at Camp Shelby MS. Then was supposed to do 12 mo. overseas to bring the total to 18 months, however I was extended under president bush for 4 month to bring the total to 22 months start to finish. 706 days to be exact. Go ahead and youtube RedBulls in Iraq. The site has videos of our bradleys doing test fire on Camp Fallujah. When we left for Iraq our mobilization was 10,000 troops strong.

    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_V4Euc_tMUd...0/red_bull.jpg

Im in the bottom left corner of the 1.

Bradley Mechanic was 63M now known as 91M. That MOS if doing basic back to back is 6 months held at Ft Knox KY.

If you want to speak about AR 670-1 why don't you get it right and say Army Regualtion 670-1 which is for wear and appearance of the uniforms and insignia. Here let me even google that for you.

    http://www.armystudyguide.com/conten.../ar-6702.shtml

2008 I did and IST (inter-state transfer) to North Dakota to take this Radar positon.

Radar MOS is 94M Sentinel Radar Repair, MOS is 11 months long held at Ft. Sill OK. I finished in Feb. of 2009.

Again let me correct you AR 600-9 (ARMY REGULATION 600-9) Is for APFT (Army Physical Fitness Training)

I completed Warrior Leadership Course @ Camp Williams in Utah. Ive never failed a PT test in my life either. (Not even in as a REP before entering basic.)

FOB's Ive already mention them but incase your short term memory strikes again. Iraq- Camp Fallujah, and Al Taqaddum Air Base for the last 4 month while extended under president bush. 22 mo. tour is part of the longest largest National Guard deployment the country has ever done.

Currently SSG Olson go ahead and look me up on global webmail through AKO if you can figure that out LOL....

I belong to North Dakota 1-188th ADA. (Hint Im the only SSG 94M in the entire state.)

    Still doing push-ups? Good!

Now recover and move out dirtbag!
