It should be noted. When I got my ticket, I had just hopped into the car, as a cop passes by, and turned it on... anyone who rushes off to class late, knows you aint thinkin about ANYTHING when your the one footing the bill other than gettin your arsh into that plastic seat in front of the teacher. So, I flip the key into "start" and the cd auto-plays, and cop reverses from the light (about 20 feet away), and has me get out, do the whole license, registration thing... shut all my windows, stand 50 feet from the car, and has me leave the volume where it is at... and if they can "hear" the music then its a ticket...
I personally and honestly didn't hear a thing minus my bass, but im on a 4-6 lane street street, with a bunch of college kids cars, parked both sides... I mean, what am I disturbing? What bugs me is like when its 3am, (I live in the projects), and when someone pulls up, lets say in a Fire/Orange Charger R/T, blasting ear drum breaking decibels, that cause the mtn. Dew in my glass on my night table to erupt like I dropped a vibrator inside the glass.... It kinda drives ya nuts.. like GTX said... Road is fair game... but when you pull up to your destination, at least cut it down to within a 5 foot only hearing radius of your vehicle. I don't mind when someone hops out a car, and I can hear the voices, or whatever, but when your bumping, and its 3am, or your outside a classroom, and your windows are up, off the road, we shouldn't hear your music... If your idling, ok, Engines I don't mind.. (unless your REALLY rice..) but I just figured some people need to respect the quiet... People will notice you if you have a nice ride, and if you want to be heard that badly, take it to the track... not to "club Walmart"
