Well the desert eagle does come in other calibers than the .50 action express.
They have conversion kits offered from Magnum Research that let you swap out barrels and bolt assemblys and have a .50ae-44mag-and 37mag all in one frame, but it gets pretty expensive. The 50 & 44 use the same bolt assembly.
