good luck with that law.
Feeding people bull**** for how many years?
LIES!!!!!
This is a LIE, PERIOD! Look at it this way. If you have a used car and are looking for a NEW car, what kind of trade in value is that car going to have at a car dealership? NONe!
If the New car dealership is going to give you $0 on your trade in, are you still going to purshase that new car? Probably NO! therefor you just keep driving your used car, and make any nesesary repair to keep it going.
This is just one, of proably a MILLION theoretical examples of what could happen if "USED" items became Illiegal to sell. Not to mention the "black market" for goods ranging from baby clothes, to aircraft parts.
When was the last time the inquisitor published anything factual?
"when you buy something its yours"
ROLF
I take it NONE of you had read ANY EULA from ANY piece of software you're purchased in the past forever.
All you've done is purchase the privilege to USE the software.
You do not own it, you are not free to sell it etc.
Hell, some musicians agree with this stating in their jacket covers "Thank you for buying this music and supporting the artists, songwriters musicians and others who've created it and made it possible. Please remember that this recording and artwork are protected by copyright law. Since you don't own the copyright, it's not yours to distribute. Please don't use Internet services that promote the illegal distribution of copyrighted music, give away illegal copies of discs or lend discs to others for copying. It's hurting the artists who created the disc. It has the same effect as stealing from a store without paying for it. Applicable laws provide severe civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction and digital transmission of copyrighted sound recordings."
Want to make a backup of your DVD collection? Sorry, you can't, that's illegal. Even though they state you can make personal backups, you're not legally allowed to circumvent any copyright protection. Which amazingly enough, ever disc has on it. Same goes for Blurays.

Read a google EULA.
EA had a huge scare over the EULA for their Origin software.
Basically it said "we'll troll your computer, kthxbye".
They changed it, but no one trusts them after that. (who serious trusted EA ever, they started ruining games left right and centre, then started a 'come back' to 'letting devs have creative freedom' with dead space i believe it was. But this was already after they ruined ME, turned it into GOW instead of an RPG. BF3 has premium service, game content was removed from ME3 to be later sold as day one DLC, created system to "let" people pay for a chance at better weapons and crap in multiplayer, BF3 you can buy the unlocks etc. LOLOL, EA sucks, the end.)
Steam has a similar clause though. Rumour has it its to prevent cheating.
Don't get me started on the EA rights to the Porsche nameplate after FM3. Then magically in FM4 after the game was made without Porsche's and Turn10 said FUUUUU we got RUF to sign on, EA was like...well ****.
Enter Turn10 30+ car Porsche Download pack.
EA can eat some concrete.
RUF cars are better anyways.
Sure.
But I'd rather have 30~ somewhat "meh" Porsche's vs. 3 RUF's.
Ten times the meh = enough
Yes of course, I'd love to play with a bunch of understeering, underpowered turds instead of three balanced and powerful ones.
Who am I kidding, real porsches have moderate understeer then epic oversteer.
