Never in my life have I gone through so many of the same part...You'd think a company that offers a lifetime warranty on a product would build it well so they don't have to dish out replacements all the time. I've gone through 5 of them this year. I don't even drive very hard. My most recent one which I put in last week is already clicking. The others slung grease within days but lasted a few months. Of all the bad reviews they get online, am I crazy to think they would make more money by making a better product than giving out a bunch of free replacements? I've had enough, going to try and see if Advance will give me my money back instead of a replacement and get a WBS one.

They aren't making that much on the taxes.. cause you gotta show a profit first.

Erich...I just returned a 4 month old one myself.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Even on the S10 forum I was on guys were still using reman./new GM axles(for those who were willing to pay for them). I actually got ahold of low mile used ones myself when I had my ZR2.

It's pretty common knowledge that the aftermarket reman cv shafts don't hold up on these cars, you're better off getting used ones from Morad Parts Company or local junkyards.

    My post...

Your thoughts? Cause I've pretty much read the same, that the axle's sux. So is it worth it to just repack/reboot the axle than replace it altogether? I have no noise, no vibration, just the grease coming out...

Apologies for jacking the thread but it is similar
