    I hate tires made for an 8" wide wheel on a 10" wide wheel. And it isn't safe. I went from 225/55/17 to 235/50/18. I wouldn't make a bigger change than that. By selecting carfully I didn't increase the weight enough to show a pound on my scale. I think 19s look great but the weight and tire change doesn't suit me.
    2005 Grand Prix GTP CompG. Overkill PCM, ZZP S2 I/C, ZZP MPS W/ 3.3" pulley, 1.9 YT rockers, 42.5# injectors, Moroso wires and AL104 plugs, 180 Thermostat, LS4 MAF.
    Front PLOG, Rear PLOG, crossover, all ceramic coated. ZZP 3" Downpipe and 3" exhaust pipes with Borla S-Type mufflers.

    well sorry guys how do u make up for extra weight gain more power lol an not so good braking up grade the brakes i mean lets be honest if some of us including myself can spend a crap load of money on our motors an what not y not do a lil bit extra 22s of the correct diameter isnt a problem my first gp i had 20s with a 35series tire not sure width no problem but my new one i plan on doing a sick drop with 22s but along with that a light weight 22 a racing rim style nothing flashy more sporty if u can afford it do it thats what it boils down too design ur own car big small fast slow hell even stock imo stock sucks anyways beside small rims has played out this is 2011 times change people change but yet to big is even more ugly an just weak it takes away from the styling of the vehicle which is sleek an sporty keep the car that way design something dont follow a trend

    Seems that oversize rims and stereos belong to the same crowd.

    There's a time and place for big rims. Not FWD. Cadillacs or a 300C with big rims is OK.

    Big rims are nice, not on a FWD. Unless they fit good and look good with no problems to performance, I wouldn't go huge. Its not always the bigger the better.
