They aren't gonna look like that...those were the concept tips before the Camaro even came out a couple years ago.

So whats with the camaro, with a larger displacement, needing a S/C to beat N/A mustang now? I'm kidding of course, but it does seem a little backwards to me.
Around here, I see more and more new RS camaros everyday. I don't doubt for a second their sells are on the rise. Every now and again I actually see an SS. I can still form words when I see one, but they do catch my eye. I'm excited for these new ZL1's to hit the street, should be fun to see if they live up to the hype. You seem like you're in love, you gonna get one when they come out? If you do, you should come see me
Yeah I would just love to get one when they come out. But I just graduated High School and have 4 years of college to worry about right now. Trust me though, if I had the means I would buy one in a heart beat! But im sure with time I will end up buying when once I get situated in the Air Force and there are better and newer things out.

I understand thats a vert, but I am disappoint. So is there a SLP package for the ZL1? Does it do anything besides look ugly lol? Those times a similar to the boss 302 times.
For years mustang's smaller displacement mod motors were the laughing stock of the camaro guys, even smaller displacement with an eaton on top would make camaro owners turn their nose up and laugh, or simply say "haha ford needed a supercharger". So....now, the top of the line camaro with more displacement, AND a S/C, has its hands full trying to edge out a smaller displacement, n/a mustang????? is going in with GM.

wow. I think quite the opposite. I think dodge did a good job in terms of making their new car look like their old car. In fact, I think they did the best job in terms of actually making a retro looking car. This also equates to the fact that I think the Challenger is equally as ugly as they were back in their older days.
Believe me, it pains me to state on a forum that I believe the Mustang is something ford did well with, but I really think they did in terms of styling. I dislike the gauge location on the Camaro, as pointed out in the one video, but aside from that, I think the car is stunning. Perhaps one factor is that I can see it in T/A attire, as well.
The ZL1 is not supposed to be a Boss 302. What is with you people? ZL1 is going to make 550 HP atleast! The 5.0 L mustang engine makes 400 ish. I am failing to see what the problem is? The CHevy engine is bigger and is S/C making MORE power than the 5L N/A. Not tied.
Because Ford's 5.4 DOHC rivals the Camaro's Supercharged LSx setup....with nearly a full liter of displacement less...oh...and lets not forget. Ford's new 5.0 liter Coyote motor...that makes 412+ HP...depending on who dyno's the damn thing...and the Camaro is only making what...10-ish more HP...with OVER a full liter more displacement...

Now A.) I was not talking about the 5.4L DOHC motor, I thought everyone was saying a Mustang GT with the 5L was making more power than the ZL1. And B.) I was not talking about the SS, this whole thread has been about the ZL1. So I apologize if I mis-read or mis-interpreted what was being said. And no worries Blue, GM will redo there engines some time. Its a constant game of countering. Otherwise no one would be in business.
I wasn't talking about the Mustang GT. I was talking about the boss 302, and no, it's not supposed to "be a boss 302", it is supposed to compete with it though. Even though the boss should be 5-6k cheaper then the ZL1 as far as MSRP goes. Yes, the almighty ZL1 should make a little over 100 more hp then the boss (550 vs 444). I consider that pretty sad coming from chevy, considering their past. The boss has a tweaked 5.0, vs the ZL1's S/C 6.2.....intial tests show them with very close 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. And the Boss will embarrass the ZL1 on a road course. How you consider this a win for the ZL1 is beyond me.
I do agree with you about things turning around though, I just hope it doesn't take chevy as long as it took ford.
That's an SLP dealer stock photo, the ZL1 tips do not look like that.
For the record, I don't give a crap, the 5th gen is a pig, and their owners are fags.
