I've had it with these freaking cars, I've bit my tongue until this point.

I have done all the coolant Gaskets, and yes i have a throttle body spacer but i used rubber gaskets and silicon and its not leaking, somehow i believe i am still leaking at the damn orings, but how???? there new and i use silicon on those as well.

I thought it was cured, but being winter white smoke comes from all cars.

it was 50 today and it smoked like a *****, as if it were 20 outside, I revved the dog piss out of it and the smoke went away for awhile, just like before i took the motor apart, And then it came back.
And i know its a coolant leak because im still losing coolant.

I just wish i never did the valve covers, would of been better another burnt grand prix. i have put so much money into this car i could of bought a blower for my Z

Have you tried RTV where it leaks?

gm is So ignorant, running coolant through a blower...

why don't they just run oil hose ports over the exhaust.

Why don't you just block the coolant holes? You still have to open up the other side of the LIM for the rear head but at least you know its not that then.

looks like it'll have to wait awhile, meaning more paint/oil/coolant moneys.

    This blows.

I bought my GP because of my problem car.

I've got a 94 Dodge Stealth. I bought it in August 2002 with 104k miles. For the first 45k miles of my ownership the only major thing I changed was the clutch. I had probably 100 drag passes on it in that time.

Then at 150k miles the engine blew. It was expected because of previous things that happened and led up to the failure.

At 155k miles I blew the differential at the drag strip. I added a bunch of things to make sure another diff failure wouldn't happen. I blew diff number two 3 months later at the drag strip.

I put another trans together and gave up drag racing it. That trans ate another diff 10 months later just driving it normal. I got a Quaiffe diff and put another trans together. That trans ate 2nd gear 10 months later.

I put another stock trans I had here in the car. That trans ate yet another diff on Feb 23, just 14 months later.

So in 45k miles I had no major issues. In the next 45k miles and 3 years I lost an engine and 5 transmissions.

    Hows that for a rant?

Haha, its not a Chrysler product though, its just a rebadged Mitsubishi.

No one can figure out why I've had the problems I do. There have been people make much more power than I could dream of on the same trans with no issues.

The main point of my post is just to show that all kinda of cars can have issues. Just because my Stealth treated me like crap the last few years doesn't mean they are all crap. Some people just have bad luck with their cars at times.

No. Chrysler owned some stock in Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi built some cars for them. My Dodge Stealth was 100% assembled in Nagoya, Japan at the Mitsubishi factory. Its a rebadged Mitsubishi.

Mine is pretty loud. I fired it up today when I got home and let it idle a few minutes. I gave it a few stabs of the throttle to blow any condensation and carbon out, then shut her back off.
