(Idk where else to put this post) Anyone know what S/C-t stand for in the Grand-Am S/C-t? I'm wondering if it was supposed to stand for SuperCharged-touring??

the 3800 was never offered for a grand am of any year.
thats cute a s/c 3400![]()
The SC/T is just a appearance package. A guy on our forum has a 2003 Grand Am SC/T...all it has is Ram Air, 3400, different hood/spoiler/rims...
Definitely not supercharged, although it does have fully functional ram air. SC/T was an appearance option group (PDE, IIRC) and was produced from 1999-2005...again, IIRC. I do know that ASC came up with the design for the hood and body trim for a SEMA show car - and Pontiac liked it - and that is how it came to be.

eh... looks rice
I think it looks good IMO...good job
The S/C was only an appearance package, as others above mentioned. The only Ram Air system on the car is the same one that the GTs used (through the vents in the front). The Ram Air style hood is NOT functional (the openings have solid honeycomb designed plastic inserts). It's not all that hard to make it functional, but it doesn't come that way from the factory.
