LOL, I saw that a while ago, and passed right over it. I do love the medium golf blue, but this is the problem with these "rare" cars. People don't seem to understand how supply and demand works. "The supply is low on these cars". Yeah, but so is the demand, jackass. You have to have both parts of the equation in order for that to work. This "special edition" is nothing more than a decal, and a couple plaques. Hardly something that makes it a collectible (or even worth anything more than a "regular" GTP, for that matter). But if you tried to explain this to the seller, he'd think YOU'RE the idiot. After all....he's sitting on a gold mine. IT'S RARE!
i dont like it really only think nice about it is the paint.... i can get aftermarket decals and plaques myself.... i just increased my cars value 5000 bucks LMAO plus its got the 97 98 air cleaner BOOO
little late on this but I have a pace car, and I dont like that blue. rather have silver, white, black.
yeah that blue is sorta a chick color =] lol
Screw that. Black, silver and white are a dime a dozen. The medium gulf blue rules, especially when cleaned up and properly detailed. It almost looks like incandescent light in the sun.
It almost looks like it's giving off light, yes.
I concur about this blue being more for us women. My Dakota is this color basically.
If you thought $10k was bad for a REAL Special Edition, make sure you swallow whatever you're drinking before clicking on this:
1997 Pontiac Grand Prix in sparta, NC 28675: Sedan Details - 261278265 - AutoTrader.com
He used to have a $15k price tag on it too. Guess he came to his senses, but not enough.
ive owned GTX and daytona 500 models and when selling them all i can say is... people dont care about rarity its still just a grand prix to them. when selling my 2nd GTX i was asking 3500 and people were kicking me on it. so i parted it out and over time ive made close to 7000 from it go figure
yeah I seen the ad, that guys has pretty much F'd that GTX up, i'd much rather have a car like that stock...but then again someone may say the same about my 06 :\
Thanks guys.... its good to know that my medium gulf blue GTP and Nassau Blue C5 are chick colored cars....
I love the MGBM and I love the Pace Car decals. I sought after the car for the colors and decals specifically. Its like the Nismo 350z... you're paying for the cosmetics. I didn't pay much more for the car than I would've had I got a regular GTP, but I feel it was worth it.
Hey, think about it, people put on makeup and pay a lot of money to look better on the outside, but it doesn't change the way the body works on the inside.
HEY I LOVE BLUE Joe. Bronzemist is a chick color.
How's that sound?
^^^ thats below the belt, joe wins by default
