some may know i recenetly bought some 18" mille miglia evo5 and i love them, i knew they werent balanced because i could feel the vibration when driving. I took my car to get its recall and the tires balanced today and they tell me it cannot be balanced because all 4 are bent! . The guy i bought off craigslist listed them as in great condition, i didnt see any bends before i bought them. I inspected all rims also, Im so heated I dont know what to do. People really dont respect other peoples hard earned money and just sell stuff thats not exactly accurate. Plus im 17, $600 for rims isnt an easy thing to afford. NOW WHAT!

How did you pay? Credit card? File a chargeback. Paypal is not going to help you much. But if it was not purchased with an actual plastic card and it still came out of your bank account you can still do a chargeback. Just make sure you tell them that paypal would not do anything about it. Because they won't.

    That's your only options.

Well then that would turn into a local legal matter. Can you see that the rims are bent? It's possible they can be fixed at a wheel repair shop.

I would take it to a different shop and have them look at it. Some shops do nit have the right equipment to do big expensive rims. Or don't want to take a chance messing something up.

    That's what I would do.

It might not be bent, I sold a set of Mille Miglia EV-S wheels and the guy I sold them to works at a tire shop. He says there's some size tires that they just won't balance on you've gotta run the exact thing. I HIGHLY doubt that they're all bent.

Noting just won't ride perfect, I'd still see about some smaller tires.

I have some vibration going on. Would there be a point to getting them balanced by a shop that will still do it even though there bent?

Check a few other shops... some people can balance tires, others cannot. Some of it can be the equipment, other times its just the operator. I've run aftermarket rims on my cars for 10 years now, If I had a nickle for everytime some idiot told me my rims were bent or they just didn't balance them correctly... i'd be a millionare. I haven't had too many rim problems to speak of.

I bet an idiot tried to balance you're car, plain and simple. Move on down the road, get someone else to do the job. Don't mention someone else claimed they were bent... I bet ya they'll 0 them out perfectly... I'm serious.....
