Ok so I am on my cruise, having a great time with my friends, 13 of us. One of the girls decided it was smart to come aboard already really sick with the cold. It was nice of her to get at least 5 others sick in the process of doing that. I starting getting the nasal congestion back last Saturday while still on the boat, but nothing more. So I thought I was good.

But oh noooooooooooooooooooooooo. I wake up today, with a high fever chills, sweats, and aches in places I never knew could ache. Hell it is so bad I had goosebumps ontop of goosebumps even though you could fry an egg on my forehead I just got done sleeping another 4 hours and I wanted to just roll out of the bed and die.

I went out earlier and got some Musinex D and SOBE Pina Colada, that Echninacia* in it. Started pumping that into me, but it will take upto 24 hours before I start feeling better!

I guess I am writing my last will and testament now

    Simply put.............

    BEING SICK SUCKS!!!!!!!

*crawls back into bed to die some more*

Well I thank you Scotty. As long as you are not praying to that Barry Manilow* god, I will gladly take the well wishes

I went to Shop n Save late last night, cause I couldnt sleep from all the coughing and got some nightime Alka Seltzer cold medicine to knock me out. It worked out pretty good. I slept till almost 7am and then woke up for a few minutes and got some regular Alka Seltzer Cold Plus medicine in me and then crashed back again.

Now I am awake again and aches and pains are still pretty bad, that my spine hurts. Thats never a good sign I would say, but I need to get up and move out in the sunshine to get some rays, but of course its 21 degrees OUTSIDE NOW!!! Grrrrrrr.

I am just glad this happened over the weekend and not during the work week. I would be missing quite a few days from work suffice it to say Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon I will feel good enough to go in. Its a holiday, and I will be getting double time ontop of my regular pay, so I cant miss that!!!!

    That's header money

I hope you feel better soon. I was a little nausated when I got up this morning but it's not from being sick (just found out we are pregnant ) Hopefully the morning sickness won't be as bad as it was when I had Abby, that was horrible!!!! But the worst of it probably won't happen until later this week or next. Anyways back to u if u have an upset stomach put some salt in a glass with Sierra Mist or Sprite and sip on it it works very well. Dave has had some really bad sore throats in the last few months and he's been gargling Apple cidar vinagar or Cayenne pepper and warm water and the one that really worked is warm milk a quater teaspoon tumeric powder and an 8th teaspoon cayenne pepper at night before bed just sip on it and you should feel better in 3 days thats if you have a sore throat Dave only had to do it one night and his throat wasn't hurting anymore. He said it's horrible tasting but it works.

Yeah I was hurting pretty good. Tonight I am feeling somewhat better, I still have a good amount of aches and pains, but nothing like what I was experiencing yesteday for sure!

Your post kinda reminded me of that scene in Monty Python's The Holy Grail, where the body collector was coming around to pick up the dead, and that old man kept saying he wasnt dead. ......... Gave me a chuckle

Thanks for lighting up my spirits sir
