So true! After reading through this dilemma, tons of good advice here! A lot of the **** mentioned that dealerships do to customers is accurate. I guess it is worth mentioning that new or used car dealerships are not your friend! All they want you to do is buy a car, and they could care less about your credit, and any other problems. That is why the last 4 Grand Prix's I have purchased were all from private owners. The sad thing is that occasionally, when there is a nice car at a dealership, and if you want to buy it bad enough, then you have to deal with them.
The former Pontiac dealer near where I live tried their hardest to con me 12 years ago when I bought a GP there. Didn't work! The look on their faces (seems like the owners are always outside or standing looking out the front window) is priceless when I drive past their dealership. They can't figure out how they sold me a car there 12 years ago, and I am still driving it! Believe me, if they had their way, the GP would blow up, or catch on fire.
