Someone else in Tn;about time, yea im 2 hours south in elora, tn
Oh yea! There were lots of TN people in that other thread.. I guess a lot of them just left or something. Hope more turn out because a meet or something would be nice in the summer.
That would be nice,I havent seen any other moded gp in person
McMinnville tn, I think u mean, my stepdad lives there.
Its a nice town but the ratio of mexicans to whites is a bit much for me to stay there.
I'm not in TN, but just noticed your screename. So hows the GP treating you compared to the 95 Cougie you traded in? Hopefully well. Good to see I'm not the only one that got into the Pontiac game along with the MN12's. Hopefully this 3.8L S/C will last longer than the Ford version does
Hey I found one more in Memphis, Tennessee his sceen name is brandonl2000
yup i'm in Memphis!! with alllllll the other hood rats and heathens
Did you browse the TCCOA.com forums too? I used the same user name on that site. I have alot of reasons trading in my Cougar but the biggest one is the fact it was showing its age pretty bad. It was a great car and never let me down but the gas mileage at the end and some other issues that came up. I just got tired of dealing
So far this pontiac seems to be great car.
I got a great deal on it using the Cougar for a trade in. I am somewhat paranoid right now about it because the first owner was a rental company and I'm sure that people did not run 93 in it and probably dogged the piss out of it. Good thing is that though the car only has 77k miles on it so 23k and about a year left on the GM powertrain warranty. So if anything serious happens I can have it fixed. I have changed the supercharger fluid, tranny fluid, and gonna flush the cooling system next. Also gonna change the plugs and wires soon too. But back to its a great car thing. Its the most powerful car I have ever owned. Basically I love it so far!
Yep, still on TCCoA. Same username as here. I hear ya on the maint. issues. After a while the nickels and dimes turn into quarters and dollars, lol... Heck by the time I get my bird back together it will be one of the best ones around having not been on the road for the last 4 years
I think with all you're doing maint. wise now you should be ok even if it was previously neglected. That's a nice ride and should last a long time given the right care. Factory warranties are great to have.
Tennessee is a good place to live, I came down from Michigan about 9 years ago and Tennessee is a lot milder weather. Manchester is not from from McMinnville or Sparta. I have seen a couple more 3004 Pontiac GTP's around, but no idea if they are part of this forum or not? My GTP is primarily STOCK other than the cold air intake. I have considered putting a different exhaust on the car, like headers and some performance mufflers, but the cost versus the gain is still a question I need to resolve.
I'm in Memphis/ Barlett
Well.. Seein hows two of you guys are from Memphis I was thinking a bit closer. On the other hand though, Gatlinburg would be great too.
