Hey guys,
So I noticed a lot of spam starting to pop up. So I made some changes that I hope will help curb that a little bit. New members have to confirm their email in order to be able to post. Once a user confirms the email they will be placed into a User Class of Pending Users. While in this user class a User CAN post BUT their posts ALL have to be approved by a moderator. After a set number of days, or set number of posts, that user will automatically be moved into a registered users group where they can post and not need moderator approval anymore. The hope is that this will cause too much hassle for the spammers and they will just move on while their spam posts NEVER make it to the public. IF anyone has any problems or talks to anyone that has problems PLEASE let me know ASAP and I will see if I can correct them.
Thanks Guys!

Sounds like a solid plan.

I am a new user, and I'm getting a message saying I haven't posted in a while, but My intro post, and a couple of others that I (attempted) to post either went into a pending approval status or just disappeared....

Thanks for the heads up.. There were some pending posts in there... I got them all approved now I think... Also, welcome to the forum.
