I just purchased a 2002 Grand Prix GTP on Wednesday and on Saturday night I stopped over my girlfriends house. I parked the GP in the driveway and someone knocked on the door. I did not answer my girlfriend said it was a guy down the street wanting me to go to this event (he gave her a business card with event info on it). So I will be going if I don't have to work.

But what fun is it to go to a car meet and not bring your car? I mean **** even If I dont have a new body by then I will still bring my car... It will sit at the hotel during the meet but I will still bring it.

I am really glad to hear that the show is on again for another year.
The show in June 2014 exceeded my expectations. There were many more '97-'03 GP's there (as well as 7th Gen. GP's) than I thought there would be. It was a very enjoyable event.
Means so much to me to attend since I own multiple GP's.
There are those around me who say the day has come and gone for the front drive w-body GP. Time to move on to something else.
I beg to differ.
It is fun to go to the show and take pictures of the GP's, so I can say "hey, look at all these GP's at this show I was at in Detroit".
