If you want to waste a whole day, go to this thing next year.
No idea what this Dyno Day is about, but I'm probably gonna go see. Lol
Day after Cinco de Mayo, so maybe shower beer off that hangover and come on down!

The instructor wasn't able to give any info on the dyno. No answer at Granite City. 5th is their opening race weekend tho.
Not sure who's bringin it, or what they're charging. It's like a mile from here so I'm goin out bright and early. (also make an effort to update Sat. AM)
Got a call back hours ago, sry. Pretty much went verbatim as follows,
"Yeah, you called about the dyno that's supposed to be there? .. Yeah, the kids.. uh, from the school because it's a fundraiser, had some insurance issue. You guys can still come out, but the dyno, ya know.."
Oopsie! Well, that's it.
Looks like bright and early will be about noon instead.
This was a total bust. Seriously, don't make the trip.
The jackass "students" were all standing around out there at the crack of 9:30am, while the gates were at 8.
By 11:00am people were hungry. No food out there, no vendor booths, and definitely no dyno. Returning at 2:30pm we passed the last two semi tractors leaving.
Leave it to the millenials.
So there was more effort put into the flyer than the actual event. I was debating going but worked on the car and a playset for the kids. Sounds like I made the right choice.
It was unorganized. I don't think they did much outside email a bunch of flyers out.
It honestly sounded like the guys that run the track were even a llittle disappointed.
Hopefully next year, the auto dept will put in more effort and make somethin' outta it.
