A/C Inoperable after transmission installed
I'm not sure how they could be related unless there is a ground or connections came loose. But I do recall a slight groaning noise that varied with the rpms that was only apparent with the A/C on, before the transmission was replaced. I do not know if this is simply a coincidence. I tested the connection at the compressor, one pin shows ground and there other shows nothing, with the a/c turned on inside the car. The relay does not de-energize either with the a/c on when I pull the compressor fuse. Any ideas?
Re: A/C Inoperable after transmission installed
Is the intake air sensor plugged in? Not plugging it in will prevent the AC from engaging.

go on alldata or shopkey and look at the shcmatics 'im in school and those site are life saveers!" good luck amigo
Re: A/C Inoperable after transmission installed
If the engine was removed when they did the trans, they may have discharged the A/C, If there is no pressure in the system, the A/C clutch will not engage.... you might not have any refrigerant(R134a)
**Make sure the A/C pressure sensor is plugged in, I don't know exactly where it is located though
Re: A/C Inoperable after transmission installed
I was scanning the car for a different problem I noticed it was throught a p0530 code. I know I disconected a lot of grounds at the transmission but don't see any loose or anything. So it looks like more of an electrical problem, than a mechanical one.
