The title says it all. In case you don't catch it right away the pt is messed up in reading the gear. Also, last hint, 0-78 and never broke 5,000 rpm and was WOT the whole time

Moved to the correct area.
Care to share how you accomplished this?
Sure! On the PT under transmission there are separate tables for each position the transmission can be in (1-2-3-D). I Changed the settings under DriveLow2(2 on the indicator). I changed the 1-2 upshift table to 0mph on the whole table, meaning anytime I'm at or over 0 be in 2nd gear. Then the 2-1 downshift table (under DriveLow2) I changed all the values to 255, meaning anytime I'm under 255 don't go to 1st gear.
Pretty sure I explained that right (because my pt is in the car with the "car" laptop.
Makes sense. I had an idea that you just adjusted the shift points, and that confirms it. Nice.
I've been meaning to look in to this. Both of my pickups when you put it in "2", it was in 2nd gear until it couldn't rev any higher, and then it shifted. I hate how our cars use 1st and 2nd.
Thanks.
