Thread: Richening up WOT afr with Dhp

What do I have to do to richen the afr up to get it where I need it? I'm running around 12-12.5 right now and it's causing some KR. Thanks.

You could go in the base afr vs ect table if it has one.

What have you done to the tune if anything??

The stock tune should already run the car pretty rich, around 11ish.

I've done nothing to tune it yet. Wot I'm leaning out pretty good. I'm running ported heads, s1x, headers, and a 3.4

Are you able to hook your WB up to DHP? I have only used HPT with WB

I'm able to buy don't know how

Its not worth it to hook the WB up to the dhp, its 10x easier to just glance at what its reading.

And you are sure there is no exhaust leak before the WB sensor?

Any codes on? What did you do to the rear o2 sensor?

Where are your LTFT at?

No exhaust leaks pre wb. I have no rear o2. Not sure on the ft

When I was getting weird blips of KR up top my FT's where off because I had added 1.9 rockers

I'm on a stock tune with ported heads s1x headers and a 3.4 so I'm sure my stuff is off I'll do a scan tonight if i get around to it

I thought 01+ cars need the rear o2 atleast plugged in but then the cat codes just turned off.

It's fine without it. I tuned the code out and it never gets really rich while driving or anything

Being that its a stock tune, prolly 12.4, then factor in all the adders and on most cars you'll see 10.5 to 11.5.

Stock injectors. Commanded afr says 14.7

Look in your Base AFR vs ECT table, that where it wll go when you hit PE.

Your injectors are too small.

I have it at 11.78 right now. It was at 12.4 It's not leaning out anymore in the upper rpms but I'll do a scan and see what my idc is and see how my injectors are looking.
