It would be a lot of help to know the year of the car, and the provider of the tune.

Its a 99 grand prix gt and the new PCM is out of a 2000 Buick I got female the salvage yard. Numbers match but I wondered if the Buick being in an accident for some reason the fuel has been shut down?

Wait, why would you swap out a pcm from a Buick, was yours broken or what?

Hopefully someone else will chime in but I dont know about transplanting a pcm from a completely different vehicle... I know it could be the same motor but different security systems and fuel pumps/fuel delivery, electrical systems, etc
