    Guys,
First off I have a 98 GT naturally aspirated. I’m trying to get performance shift to work on my car. I followed the write up here on the forum and I cannot get it to work for the life of me. So far a friend of mine and I have used several .bin files from my model year car, took them into tiny tuners made changes, transferred them back into HP tuners and then to my car. The light doesn’t come on and the shift tables never change. I cannot figure out what we are doing wrong. Once again I followed the write up precisely. I am clueless at this point. Is it just my specific PCM that will not allow performance shift or is it something that I am doing incorrectly? Please help guys this is getting frustrating.

    Thanks

I like to just change the full throttle shift points to what performance shift would be, then you dont have to hit a button.

Well there's only 2 tables in the pcm that really turn it on, so if you can see those tables and changed them, you should be set on that end. Either that or try a different bin file for your GT.

Next is to double-check the wiring on it, if you feel confident you changed those 2 tables in the pcm, it's time to re-do or have another pair of eyes check your wiring.

If your car didnt come with performance shift, your gauge cluster will probably need a bulb. :P

What two tables would those be? I figured I would need a light bulb but we couldn't even get the switch to go between the different shift patterns. Could it be that my pcmcia won't accept ps? I read somewhere about putting resistors in the line going to pin 21. Anyone know anything about that?

Your PCM should be fine, but you should be able to put in a PCM out of a 98 GTP which should have the performance shift programmed in. I'd definitely check all your wires and stuff again, make you've got good voltage coming from all of them, etc.
