Has anyone tried using powrtuner with a notebook? one of those with the atom processor. Given the fact that they run windows and they also have .net 1.1 I'm assuming it should work just fine, but was wondering if anyone had tried it yet.

I use mine on a laptop... As long as it meets the criteria and has a usb port, you're good.
