this guy around here has HPTuner and he told me that the company told him he isnt able to do a case learn on my car? But isnt that what most of you guys use. I have an 01 Grand Prix GTP

Do you think he is just yanking my chain?

Odd...but I've had a similar issue before. When you come across an OS ID that isn't in the system, you send them the file and they make you a beta software version that you load.

On that beta version I once had an issue that the case learn piece was reading 100F degrees less. Therefore it never saw minimum temp to case learn.

I loaded back to the normal version and was able to do it. Then went back to beta to write to teh car.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

that could easily be the issue. Case learn requires the car to be at a certain temp.

You can get into more difficulties if its reading in C so its running at 80 C and then the thing looks for the number 100, doesnt care what units.

He straight up said they said dont support my car this is what he sent back because i wanted to try to use my stock pcm to see if it no longer need the case learn

we dont need credits as I can use tunercat to flash I don't prefer hptuners. also check if efilive can do your car. we have that also and don't need cred
its for efilive we have the unlimited version.

Everything i have told him i know Copper is in The same town im in im going to hook up with him hopefully and see if he gives it a try for me because i really dont want to put the stock PCM back in i like how this one drives. So you dont have to buy credits to do the Learn tho right i think thatst wha t someone said
