If you're pulling timing on your current tune then it could very well be from your FT's being off. And any KR could also be associated with this.
But to answer your question yes it would.
sweet...I had a friend of mine here in KC scan my car on the dyno and after about 4000 rpm my fuel ratio went from what it was (about 14.5) to 12.2....and started knocking...this is what im trying to fix here
Well that could be a cupple of things as far as the AFR. But for the fuel trims and more than likley your KR problem the AFC will work perfect.
awesome, know where I could find one or something like it that does what it does? it would work for the N* conversion too right?
Yep. All it does is plug into the MAF pug. You can usually pick one up used for about 50 bucks at the most. That is def what I would do. I sold mine for less than that.
schweet...Im kinda computer illiterate though so its not like complicated is it? jw
Thanks for the help,
Jarred
No. You just have to understand how it works a little. Basicly it starts at 100% and you can raise or lower if from this value. Raising it tells the PCM that more air is comming into the engine. But there really is not. So you're getting more fuel. Same thing with lowering it.
