    i know a pcm firms up shift points so does that mean i wouldn't need a shift kit anytime soon

    A PCM with modified shift points and pressure will only do so much. You will notice a difference...But there will be more of a difference with a shift kit.

    shift kits will make your chirp the tires on shifts. a PCM will make the car jerk a little.

    that is the difference between upped line pressures and hard parts.

    No. Enless they are done in an incorrect manner. They can actually be somewhat bennefictial. Shorter shift times mean less wear on ''soft parts'' like clutches ect.But more strain on ''hard parts'' like input shaft ect.


    Enless you're pretty modded you should be more worried about soft parts than hard parts...That's why i said usually it is better.

    ok cool im gunna order mine from intense, do you know if i have to send mine in in order to get theres for the core fee or whatever or can i jsut wait til lthey send my new one and then send my stock one in

    i might get a shift kit as well... might just do it when i change my tranny fluid! who makes the best one do you think?
