Is there anyone in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia that can adjust the cooling fan turn on temps? I'm in Chesapeake. I have a stock '99 GT and just want the fans to come on at a lower temp.

The A/C currently doesn't work, it's on the project list, I tried hitting the switch anyway and it's not turning the fans on. The fans come on at the factory set temperature, I just wanted to lower it in the ECM.

you can buy tuner and do it pretty easy. hpt is $300 or so these days.

or unplug the temp sensor and the fans will run high speed all the time.

Since I'm not looking to do a lot of tuning, just the cooling fans, I'm holding off on buying all of the tuning equipment. I figured if there was someone in the 757 area that had tuned theirs, I'd pay them to adjust the fans for me. I know about unhooking the sensor, but I don't want them to run on high all the time.

Yeah, I looked at tuners and don't wanna spend that much to just turn the fans down. I was hoping someone in the area had tuned their car, had the tuner, and I could pay them for their time to do it. I know I can unhook the sensor for high speed all the time but wasn't looking to go that route. Thanks for the advice though, she's a reclamation project in the works so I'm sure I'll have more questions!

Sorry for not answering earlier, I wasn't sure the forum was working and had log-in issues. I'm going to look into PCM Hammer and I have an OBD 2 Scanner/Reader already, thanks for the help. I'll let you know how it goes.
