I have an 04 Pontiac Grand Prix Supercharged.... I went to the junkyard to grab a PCM but I grabbed it from an 04 CompG. Not my car specifically but I was hoping if I can send in the PCM from the CompG to set it to my specific new mods for my car, which is the 04 Pontiac Grand Prix Supercharged.. Trying to not miss a beat with my daily is all.
Hope I didn't confuse anybody. Hope someone understands what I meant lol. Thanks

Turbo is the way to go.

You are better off tuning the computer you have with an in car tune.
Depending the mods you do, nothing is going to be a program a go type of thing. No canned tune is going to match perfectly with what you are doing.

Yeah, makes sense. Over hear trying to be cheap. Had my eye on Intense and than I seen ZZP's and Core charge/send in PCM first stuff, so I thought I had a shortcut. Wish I can teach myself how to use that HP Tuner. In car tune is the way to go for best results?

Of course a personal tune will yield better results than a canned tune but a canned tune is better than no tune at all. I would suggest checking with the specific vendor for the PCM that is compatible for usage. I went with ZZP myself and cannot be happier.

Thanks for the response. Will I have to send in my original 04 Pontiac Grand Prix Supercharged PCM or can I send in my spare 04 CompG PCM?

Sorry I do not check here often. Call the vendor you want the tune from they can tell you for sure.

You need the dropbox stuff that Scottydoggs is hosting. PCM interchange is in there. I forget if it includes 04+ but it's worth checking.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
