I compared the 2 files in TT one is the stock bin, other is the one with cat modified.

    Table Name: Flash Checksum
    Table 1 Size: 4 Table 2 Size: 4
Table 1 Start Position: 70F4C Table 2 Start Position: 70F4C
    Table 1 First Different Value Location: 70F4C Table 1 Value: 128 (80)
    Table 2 First Different Value Location: 70F4C Table 2 Value: 46 (2E)

Has to be something do with this checksum value but I have no clue why is changing after I modify. If I change the value after I save it just reverts. Wheres the TT pros to shed some light?

no clue on the checksum. unless maybe you can change it in that program you change the vin# with?

sadly the pcm i have here turned into a brick. it wont even read.

only other way is to find and buy one off ebay have it shipped right to me and ill flash it and pray it works right. and ship it back to you. i see em often for like 30 or so shipped.

After reading and reading finally found that its the OSID "The database has the wrong address for the OSID and programming complete pattern. This is throwing off the checksum calculation" A guy in 3800pro forums had the same problem with the same OSID, theres a fix but have to figure it out. http://www.3800pro.com/forum/pcms-tuning/32815-how-use-hpt-after-using-tiny-tuner-getting-error-message-hpt.html

    Never mind no luck there.

Hi not a pro but I no the only way to use tiny tuner with hptuners is with version 2.24 or older you have to flash the bin file as a bin file with hptuners if you save the bin with hptuners and then flash as an hpt. File I've had problems that way flash as a bin. File and then read after with hptuners

Bringing this back from the dead. Still never got this fixed basically I have just been dealing with the super rich condition once every key cycle, sometimes causes a stall and have to wait for it to do the cycle again. Since it’s been years I was just wondering if anyone has any advancements that may help me.
