i get all that, but if this one is taking a crap, its needs another one. may as well get the hd tranny.

Well obviously i dont know how the previous owners drove the car but it does only have 95xxx miles that would suck if it was crapping out. I do know my pcs is bad idk if that would matter at all.

On a side note when i first got the car i changed the tranny fluid and it was in good looking shape nothing out of the ordinary. I also think my axles might be acting up its pretty rare but occasionally when im breaking and turning at the same time theres like a little pop/cracking noise i can feel

Yes the pressure control solenoid. A month after i got the car i started getting really hard shifts which is when i installed the shift kit and that took care of that.

so you had the max adapt code then?
maybe upping the line pressure some may help then. it maybe bleeding off pressure at the shift or something like that. im no tranny expert tho.
are you able to get a hold of race fuel? if so, pour a couple gallons of that in the tank when near 1/4 low and do another scan. if race fuel isnt locally available go to any place that sells paint (shermin williams, ace hardware, lowees etc) and pick up a gallon can of tuluene or xylene and mix with about 5-6 gallons of 92/93 oct.

this is just to ensure its real KR or not. if the KR spike still comes up, then you know it's false.
^true, but i dunno if it'll have enough of the torque/power to cause any false KR. i mean it is only 8.5:1 CR and being on 2.93 (im assuming) would be a slow ass boat lol. then again he could unplug the BBV and limit to running 4psi and go from there.
^gotcha on he's topswapped.
I get about 1-3 degrees of KR too when I down shift hard. I also see a few blips of KR in the same gear but at 20% throttle. Haven't figured that out yet though.
Ok so i just went for a quick drive. I have not taken the belt off yet. I tried taking a scan using dhp, of course it didnt want to save.. The good news is on was on torque pro and today it was seeing on average .5-1* of kr on 4-2 and 3-1 downshifts which is odd because its always been way higher. The only thing i have changed recently in my tune is i finally got my fuel trims tuned better and now they lock in within 1%. I dont know if this could have any effect on my problem or maybe my issue is just intermittent.
