    DHP has a scanner built in...it is frustratingly inconsistent if there is another program that you can use to scan using the DHP hardware i would recommend that. Tinytuner is another editor that works with the DHP hardware. it is a very good tool and gives access to a lot of stuff that DHP doesnt, however, it is not mapped for every OSID and you may need someone to add your OSID to the database before you can view your .bin files with it. that is something i wish i would have learned how to do a long time ago.

    tiny tuner is just a program that works with the dhp software. you can't read or write a bin with it. I used UV Scanner to take scans, and it was a lot more effective.

    Okay so I'm gonna need UV Scanner too for the best results lol would TinyTuner be useful to me if I'll I want to do is edit my maps to get rid of the bit of KR I have? I want meth injection but that won't be for a few months

    I wouldn't bother with tiny tuner, it's a little bit more advanced than what a new tuner is going to use. I am far from an experienced tuner, and never used TT when I had my dhp. as far as meth injection goes, the safe way to run it is to get your car tuned before you run it, and not adjust your air fuel ratio when it is spraying, that way if you have a pump failure or the meth doesn't spray for some reason, you don't lean out at the worst possible time.

    Don't adjust the AFR when spraying? So just give it an optimal AFR for non-spray and just let the meth/water have its cooling effects? I gotta do some more research. I would love E85 but I don't have it in RI. And the IC is just to expensive for me right now

    being you got a 01 in the sig there, tiny tuner is the only way to tune out the cat test and rear o2. you want to do that. or you can email me your bin once you read and save it and i can delete it for ya and email it back.

    I have a rear o2 emulator, does that change things? I also just got the hardware in! SO FRIGGIN EXCITED LMAO

    if you take the cat out or get a hi flow one the pcm over fuels. not sure that o2 emulator thing actually works on 01 up cars. you can delete the damn thing and sell the o2 emulator lol.

    I have a cated 3" DP from ZZP too. I just made a backup of the ZZP PCM onto my computer. Want me to send it to you? Do you need to be plugged into the car when changing values? And should it be key on or motor running when plugged in? The emulator works with not ever throwing a cat code lmao

    once the bin is on your pc you can just work on it at will.

    to read or flash to the pcm, car off, key to run only. i hit my e brake to kill the parking lights and then while its reading or writing dont touch a thing, turn the radio off fan off, leave the windows alone, dont even open the door till its done.

    ill pm you my email if you want the cat test killed off.
