water pump?
i was starting to think about the water pump but i didnt know if it would only overheat at stops if the water pump is bad. and how would i tell if the thermo is bad?
and also is there a test for the water pump?
an easy way to check if your thermo is bad is if the upper hose is still cold to the touch. also if your water pump is bad it should weap from the weap hole or make loud grinding noise
EDIT: make sure your car is warmed up first before you check the upper hose
fans kicking on ?
one does but the other fan turns on then stops when it goes back down....idk whats wrong with it. could it be that fan?
alright. so the damn fan still does not work. their were 2 fans idk why but it was not made for the car so I put the stock 1 one fan in and used all the same wiring and everything and it still didn't turn on. anyway I got tired of dealing with it so I decided to wire it to a switch and now the only time the fan will come on is when the car is off. I know its the cheap way of doing this but the car isn't worth anything to start with so I don't care. but any ideas how I can get this fan working when the car is on?
