Thread: 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix - Engine turns off instantly after remote starting and makes

I have a 2007 pontiac grand prix that I've had for roughly 2 years, I know it has a check engine light and I know what the codes are, they shouldn't affect the issue I have tho, but the issue I have is when I remote started the vehicle earlier today, the check engine light came back on(I reset it the night before, before I went into work) and the car turned off almost instantly after I started it and it also made a sound like something dropped from the front of the car, does any one have any idea what the sound could have been, the car does run fine, and there are no new codes I haven't seen before.

yes it does, and when I tried the remote start later that day it worked fine as if nothing has happened

Yes it starts fine with the key, when I tried the remote start later it worked just as it has always been
