The first few logs in full open loop always seem to be the leanest, wideband reading nearly 16's. It comes down pretty quick with a few 20min drives. So long as the VE tables isn't all over the place it should be alright.

The first time out was 16+ the whole time. That was a short drive. I made a quick trip around the subdivision and made an adjustment. Things were a lot closer the next time out. Low 15's for the most part. I could tell when I was in a new cell on the graph, as the wideband would show 16+ again. The last time out I was seeing a lot more in the high 14's and low 15's.
Well I burned just over a half tank on gas, but I think the VE table is pretty well dialed up to 4k rpm. According to the guide I'm using, the next step is to do some MAP/RPM WOT runs. Maybe I'll stick the go-pro to the back window for these runs.

So, I'm going to call the VE table done. Did a little more cruising around and a hand full of WOT runs to hit the higher RPM tables. Let me say... That truck does not disappoint. It feels quick! I moved on to the MAF table. It was actually pretty close right off the hop. Much closer than the VE table. I'd like to spent a little more time on it, but it's close. After all is said and done, I may tweak the VE/MAF tables a bit more using STFT's, but there's no reason for me to get them perfect. I anticipate an injector swap and a switch to E85 in the future. Then I get to start over...

Got a new sensor for the Wideband.
I'm not convinced there's anything wrong with the old one, but $45 seemed like a good investment. I have another AEM WB with a junk sensor. I can dial the truck in on a brand new sensor, and move my older used sensor to the other gauge.

It's a truck. Zero cares given for handling. The only time I care about turning is when I'm doing doughnuts!

Believe it or not, she's local to me. Right here in Tucson. I shot her an email to see if she'd be interested in reviewing my truck. She said heck yeah. Super cool in person too.

Nah. She was busy doing something with the kids. No matter though. Trusting wife, very professional cute girl and boy with self control. Just two gearheads doing burnouts.
Plus, she would have zero interest in this guy. lol

Also cleaned up some shift speed issues as well. Previously, if you stabbed the pedal at about 50mph, it would tag the limiter in 2nd before grabbing 3rd and fall flat on its face. Now, you can hear it just barely tickle the limiter before banging 3rd, and you don't even feel a drop in power. I'm going to raise the limiter about 100 rpm and that should completely alleviate that issue. FWIW, a WOT 2>3 shift in this light truck is fantastic!
