There was a picture like this but with one on top of the other. GF said she liked the wider looking hood on the corvette better. Had no clue one was a viper. They are that close for the NORMAL PEOPLE!!!
and for the camaro tail lights

Yep. Totally copied the viper. There is no other explanation. No design was used for this car. Its a copy right on wheels.
But in a serious note, SRT should really offer a dual clutch auto. Would sell a lot more vehicle's.
With that new 7 speed they have, paddle shifts and a dual clutch auto... would really propel them toward the supercar lineup next to Aston Martin. But they want to stay with the raw "you have to be part of the car" feel that the Viper originally started with.
Seems like Chevy has been in contact with Porsche and has borrowed one of their photo copiers..
I know for a fact to step up from all the complaints over the interior they hired one of the designers for Ferrari to help aid them in making the creature comforts inside better. This is why the inside is leaps and bounds better than anything they had in previous years.
I wish car manufacturers would stop with the Stan Smith chins.
Why hire a Ferrari interior designer when you can just order them to do it? Fiat owns Ferrari and Chrysler. Ever wonder why that brand new V10 isn't making that much HP? Its because Ferrari didn't want a Dodge to be pushing more power than their V12 cars.
Your conspiracy theories always make me laugh yes they are owned by fiat. The relationship between the 2 engines stop right after them being owned by the same company nothing more after that. V10 vs V12 go ahead and dig up the stroke bore compression and everything else about each. They didn't simply lop 2 cylinders off the viper so it makes less hp. LMFAO geezus them engines are entirely different. For gods sake ones pushrod one is not. The total output has nothing to do them being owned by the same company. Maybe its more the issue that one is a damn Ferrari and one is a Dodge! Hmm weird...... Lets no forget the Ferraris are what like double the price? Umm same reason GM doesn't make a Camaro that makes more HP than a the top tier vette!
Go home with your conspiracy theory, your drunk!!!
Even Wayne Carini (spelling) from Chasing Classic Cars says he not too sure about the rear.
Dude you really went off there man lol. I never once said the V10 and V12 were the same engine man. I'm saying Ferrari didn't want dodge to have a more potent engine in the viper compared to their products. Conspiracy theory you just made up man haha
The stingray is sexy. No if's/an's/but's about it. I want one. I wouldn't pay for it though... If someone gave me one for the price i can afford, I'd be all over it.
Copy no-copy, I dont care. Pure sex.
Here let me make it a little more simple for you. The viper is a HALO car for dodge it would make 900 hp if the bean counters @ dodge would let it...............
Lexus had a production v10 car and so does Audi just to name a few. Point is # of cylinders doesn't mean d1ck for HP numbers
I still have no idea what you are trying to prove here lol. You are on some other tangent there. All I'm saying, is Ferrari didn't want Dodge to have a more powerful car than theirs. That's it. I was just putting down the V10 and V12 for pure clarrification.
Saw a black one yesterday at the car meet. Looks so much better
I do like the interior so much. Its such a vast difference, you can see the transition from C5 to C6 with the interior, it just changes a little... C7 WORLDS apart.
You mistook my words and read what I wrote wrong, sir. The Dodge Viper team didn't aquire a Ferrari interior designer, they're interior is still relatively crappy considering what it books for as a "supercar"
Chevrolet aquired a Ferrari Interior designer to step up to what was being called a supercar with a cobalt interior. The ZR1 was one of the best cars bumper to bumper drivetrain wise, but creature comforts it was low man on the totem pole and laughed at with a $140,000 + price tag. So they stepped up to the base with the C7 and did a Grand Slam hit.
Oh, my apologies then for reading that wrong. But yes, the C6 interior was just pathetic. Especially when compared to the C7. The C7 is a deal in every way now. Paying 60k for an interior that is magnificent and a drive train that is efficient and powerful. Looks like the General is pushing out MUCH better cars now. Although word on the street is that the Zo7 will use some twin turbo small displacement V8. Which I personally think would be silly. Why design another new engine design? Why not just twin turbo the LT1 or slap a supercharger on it? Already video of GM supercharging the engine and pushing 600 some horses from it. Who knows, maybe they will surprise us with a new 7.0 liter.
