No work right now and I haven't registered for the upcoming semester yet so I have nothing but free time atm. Once I got into the story I just had to keep playing.

I tried took enough attempts to get to the point where I created a character (gay as process if you ask me) but that's as far as I could get kept getting server errors.

Tell me about it, no matter what you do your avatar ends up looking like different ethnical versions of Jon Lovitz. I ended up say to hell with it and picking a random build.

I couldn't even get into the character build part. "click A for online play" disappears fast and even when I hit A it wouldn't load. I'm not finished with the story anyways.

I hope you all didn't seriously think the servers would be up and running smoothly day one lol. Probably going to get server issues from overload of people for a few more days until more servers are up an running. All big titles get this problem.

So is PSN up yet, I haven't checked, I tried twice last night and it timed out. I played some story and then played COD til 0500. Wife is kinda pissed at me right now.

Nope...cloud sever is apparently down. I was able to create a character earlier and almost get into a race but it never got pass that.

I got lucky. And have been online since day 2. Day 1 I didnt bother, especially with this big a game. Online servers apparently were mostly down till day 4. I got unlucky and had to make a new charactet last night lost my character. But when I made a new one I was able to keep all my onljne stats. Just not my level money or cars as expected. Oh well.
If theres a ps3 grand prix crew. Ill join. If not ill probly have one with my best friend

So, I'm going to see about the online here in a few. I'm 55% through the story mode, taking my time and enjoying the game.
