Apparently I cannot solder. After I soldered the broken wire back on, the motor just kinda makes a weird noise. Pretty sure I cooked it
Looks like its time to go brushless.

So I'm looking at getting a Castle Mamba Max Pro 4600kv system for the Ruckus, this esc can handle up to 6s lipos. I think I'll try some 3S lipos for sure. But I am not sure what would be a good lipo to get as far as mah goes. I know that I should try to get at least a 30-40c. But where is a good place to start for mah? 3000+ or should I just try to find like a 5000mah and call it a day?

That is one of the setups that people normally do.
Either that one, this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...ssing%20Data** or the Dynamite Tazer system. Then some people use the Hobbywing setups.

Just because idiots do something doesnt mean its correct. Lots of people try a 3.4 without headers.......

The Dynamite Tazer is available in a 4000kv 3300kv and a 3000kv. That is the system that is stock in the bl version. But if I get the Sidewinder SCT I can only run 2s lipos.
Maybe spend a little extra and get this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...ssing%20Data**

And Cory on a side note I found some Lipos that fit the 1/18 Ruckus, I can't say mini anymore because they just released a 1/24 scale Ruckus. Yoou will need to run a low voltage alarm. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html

Most modern ecs that are lipo compatible have a low voltage cutoff.

The 1/18 Ruckus does not have a built in low voltage cutoff tool, that is what I am trying to get at.

Just ordered a Castle SV3 Sidewinder SCT System with 3800kv motor, Castle Creations Field Link, 2 4200mah 40c 2S Lipos, Thunder AC6 balance charger, ECX Metal gear set, and a Lipo bag. It should all be here by next Friday.

Are the Nitro T-Maxx 2.5's so popular that so many hobby websites are always sold out?

Yeah, 360-390 seems to be the avg price. The 3.3 trucks are so much more.
