So the GP needed an oil change so I went to my local advance auto, grab my oil & filter and head to the counter. A guy I know (manager) works there, stops me and tells me that I can get 5 quarts any brand of synthetic oil and a mobile1 filter for $30. The first thing I asked him was.. ANY brand? Yep...first words out of my mouth were, even Royal Purple?! He looked at me rolled his eyes and said crap..I said any didnt I...yes you did. So I got 5 quarts of R/P and the Mobile1 filter for $30. Normaly the R/P is around $8 a quart and @ 5 qurats thats 40 bucks right there plus $10 for the filter.
