really dont want to link that just friends clip again.
lol ok dude, your wife is being selfish. like a lot of other people said you haven't thrown insane amounts of money into your car. and its your money, if you have some left after the bills and family expenses you should be allowed to do what you want with it as long as its reasonable. and modding a car some is reasonable because you are choosing to make your current car better instead of buying a new car. you do need to set your wife straight, but dont put your foot down because that will cause more problems. have a mature conversation about it, be extra careful not to argue, and just tell her that you are going to use some extra money to mod your car because you like the car and it's basically a hobby, and its an alternative to buying a new one. i also would suggest helping out around the house a little bit more by just doing simple stuff it does help and isn't difficult, and then she cant say your not helping with chores haha. and if you are having a hard time with your wife, just use your love for your daughter as motivation.
slap da ***** in her face.
...no, but seriously its YOUR money that YOU earned as long as the bills are paid an the family is fed YOU spend as YOU wish.
(Most) women dont understand it. hell my girlfriend gives me a hard time for spending too much... and ive spent next to nothing on my car, seriously.
You can live in your car but you can't race your wife........unless it's sex but i win that race everytime lol
i was in the same boat a few months back, my wife was ready to leave me because i spent nearly $9000 on rebuilding my truck. and whats bad is the my insurance gave me $7000 because hail damage and i hit a deer. and i sold my buddys $85,000 jeep (6.4L hemi jk Monster) for him so he told me to order rims and tires and he'd pay for it. so really no money out of my pocket other then my $500 deductable
Consider your options....divorce is expensive, child support is very expensive, then alimony and what ever else she decides to take from you....even yor car!!! (See. It done!) Sometimes its just cheaper to keep her. Compromise sir. Think it out rationally conversate and compromise.
yeah i guarantee you that if she tries to divorce you, your car will be her #1 target based on how angry you said she gets about it lol. so think of that and your daughter for reasons not to divorce. still set her straight though man haha
You could always try for custody of you kid if it came down to it. I got full custody of my son when I got my divorce.
The way I see it for the next three years there will be NO luxury items purchased, only the needed items if something that will currently have goes KABOOM. Such as an appliance or repairs to a vehical. I just don't have enough income to pay for anything that is unnessary. Its her mini van and student loan currently sitting at $28K that is causing this friction. I do see child support payments being higher then that so divorce is not the answer. So now I will just enjoy spending time with my beautiful little daughter the best I can.
