no wake zone, riders on the bow, riders hanging off the transom, no vests flairs horns toss able flotation device, all tickets and the general driving like a retard tickets lol

Put it in the water yesterday. Huge success, enjoyed about 6 hours on the water without issues. Only one thing came up and that was that the voltage was running at 16V. The engine has a rectifier on it, therefore the battery should regulate to 14ish. Oddly the night before when I tossed the charger on it, it was also upwards of 16V. Took it into Advance and had them swap it out, also ordered an upgrade regulator/rectifier that will regulate as well. Should solve the issue.

Anyhow.. I'm out of here.... gotta hop on the boat.

Since I was driving the boat most of the time, I didn't really snap pictures. Phone was in the glove box by the radio most of the time.

Safety was top priority. First day all the shakedown went well. Second day my wife came along and we had a good time. BTW Scott those fenders work great. The voltage on the new battery stayed nice around 14 except while I was up on the motor and then it hit a max of 15ish which is likely about 14.5 and right in the normal range. I plan to install the regulator to ensure everything is good.

Boat ran great, interesting event.. the oil pump began working Saturday and I noticed as I was beaching. Blocked that off (have oil mixed in the gas already) and again it ran great. Can't ask for more, got a great deal on most stuff, did the work and it all went like it should. Now I'll do the last few things like detailing it, finishing up a few things and consider having some upholstery done.

Biggest issue now is there's black ants all over both boats. I've been laying down various killers, but it's not doing the trick. Going to get a ton of bait and let them kill themselves. Effff U ants.

They've been around. Likely came from his boat, who knows. I'm buying baits and nuking them asap.

Figured I'd post up a link to the regulator in case anyone is looking at what type this thing is. It's supposed to replace the stock rectifier with both rectifier and regulator.

I made some big progress this week, huge progress. So far I mounted the fire extinguisher (had it tucked in a side pocket last weekend) and ....laid out about 15 ant bait things. Three different types and brands..... there isn't an ant to be found within a mile now. Also picked up a nice boat cover for it.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Last night was work on the electrical fuse box and relays of buddies boat. The way things are going he could be sittin in water on Friday as well.

Ohhhhh and I pick up boat #2 Friday evening. What can I say, it looks like either a friend might want it or it would be a nice flip.
