Just curious, what county are you in, Rook? Those locations look familiar.
Laurel
Bit further away than I thought. I'm over in Warren.
When was the last year a mustang lost HP year to year? You people got it all backwards the 'Merican Muscle cars are going to stick around and in case you havn't been paying attention the mileage and HP is increasing the way I see it things are only getting better.
Oh and gee they could all get better mileage if they were not all fat over weight pigs!
I had no idea where that was... had to look it up. Yeah, I'm in the I-75 corridor with the HWY 80/Parkway running east/west through the town. Big hub for traffic here.
Yeah. Nice to see someone from KY on here though, but I got to thinking I haven't seen a pink GP or a green Mustang around here
Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen a pink Grand Prix, ever. o.O
LOL. Both of my running cars are definitely attention getters. Lime green 'Stang and a light pink GP. Both have gotten many stares and comments since I've had them. The Mustang though seems to do it much better. It's also a color you hate or like. Not much middle ground.
Parents test drove a Grabber Blue V-6 2011 mustang. Car also had the 302 stripping added to it (without saying 302 though). Im not a mustang kind of guy, but damn..... Its a beaut. You have a sexy car man. Much better than my Grand Prix lol. Props to ya man.
I love the new Mustang. As it sits now, I don't like it (mostly the color), but I think it could look awesome.
This is my vision for it via the Mustang configurator...
That's actually similar to what I want to do... Black 5 spokes, black billet grill (put a pony on the driver's side), black spoiler, black roof, and put black 3.7 badges on the fender. I also want a side stripe following the upper body lines and a couple pieces of black vinyl on the hood.
^^^ thats gonna look real nice, i love green and black combo, plus its unique
Can I ask how exactly you managed to find a 2011 or 2012 with the 3.7L for only 18.5k?? I am looking and there all in the 20+ range.... Helping my parents look for one. They want to go with the POS 4 liter to save money, which I think is a horrible idea. The 3.7L is better all around am I right? Better mileage, more power, and probably more reliable.
I had a trade in. Now, before the trade in, it was around 22k with taxes. You won't find a new one for much cheaper than that.
If you get an auto with the 2.73 gearing, you'll have gas mileage that will make any mid-sized sedan 4 banger jealous. My '10 Malibu I traded in averaged 26-27mpg. Right now my Mustang is reading 26.4mpg average.
