Just offering some affable drama really.

Ok, lets slap a procharger on a 3.7 so it can have boost too. Hector, the owner, is still running the stock block. His company is about to release a single turbo kit for these cars too.
V6 F-Body's run the same times with boost too.
With lots older technology.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yeah, either one of those pigs would have a really bad day at anytrack USA on Grudge night. Not impressed.
That looked like an 11.3 to me.
On some pretty meaty tires.
Why not toss some exhaust and a decent tread on the ZL1 and try again?
That was a pretty nice apples to oranges video...along with ZL1's going way faster than that stock...like 11.93?

These engines are still in their infancy. They've been out 3 years and people are just now seeing what they can do. That 10 second car doesn't even have cam regrinds or anything, the valvetrain is left untouched: the engine is COMPLETELY stock. This car just has full exhaust, rear upper and lower control arms, the supercharger, injectors, 3000 tc, meth injection, alum ds, gears, and a tune. I'm still waiting to see how much they gain with a turbo when there isn't parasitic loss on the engine. Helion and CFM are both releasing turbo kits this summer.
Are these cars better than a 3800? Not saying that. The 3800 has proven itself since the GN days and they still have awesome bottom ends. However, Ford designed a damn good V6 that has a lot of potential were just discovering. It makes me happy to own a V6 that might be just as good as the 3.8 GM motor.
Oh broham...
Listen.
I'm 110% with you on that, I'm just playing devil's advocate.
My old man picked up a '11 3.7 DOHC Stangbanger, in Kona Blue...already done AR catted LT's on it with a Maggy Comp. Catback and a C&L CAI. Car sounds great and runs its junk off for all motor six banger.
Still no cares.
It's modded; like I said...apples or oranges. Bet that thing can't hook for balls on street tires.
