I would NEVER fire a gun that big from a sitting position or prone. I can't believe people are actually trying it. One of the greatest things about shooting offhand is the whole body can flex to absorb the recoil. I'm not sure how retarded I would look shooting it, but surely I wouldn't drop the thing...
