just remember to spary something on all the bolts. if you break one its really gonna be a pain. you should be able to do it all in a drive way tho
True, a broken bolt isn't really fun, but if the bolt is broken off into a part that he's replacing (since he's doing headers), it's not too bad...
If I were installing headers, and the bolts didn't want to turn, I'd just cut 'em with my Dremel.
To add to the "It Came Today!!!!" excitement, my ported TB showed up today.
yea just dont break the bolt on the cross over pipe where the bolt is welded on the back. damn that was a *****..
To which bolt are you referring? Breaking any of the crossover bolts doesn't matter since the manifolds aren't going on the car anymore.
And, I did break one of the rear crossover bolts. It's not welded in, just seized damn tight. When I was done, I replaced all four of the crossover bolts with my own stainless steel nuts, bolts, and washers with anti-seize to prevent the issue from ever happening again.

yeh im a little nervous lol im not a great mechanic....my freind is supposed to help but u know how it is lol.......thanks for the advice tho...ill post sound clips asap when ever its done

u can do it man =] have some confidence and worst comes to worst drive it to a shop if your stuck they can finish. give it a shot atleast!
