The 04 + Grand Prix's, IMO, are a very nice looking car. I would dare say, again, that this new body style is one of the finest for the GP's yet. I don't particularly like the 97-03 style very much as far as stock is concerned, but do like those model years when the right people do the right upgrades... they can become one mean looking machine...

One thing I don't like so much about the 04's is the butt... from the side... From the back, it looks nice... but when I look at my car from the side as it's parked on the street, it looks like it could use some cosmetic surgery or something. The lines make it look mean from the front right to JUST above the center of the rear wheel wells... and ... blahhhhhhhhhh. I just don't know what I could do to make it look better. I am thinking about one of the sportier GXP type spoilers.... I don't know...

    Just felt like rambling...

I am also quite fond of the 95-96 coupes. I LOVE those headlights.

But what the heck was GM thinking of when they made those hideous GP sedans in the early-mid 90's? I'm gagging just thinking about it...

I like the 04+ overall the only thing i'd change though is the license plate placement. Call me old fashion, but I REALLY like the license plate on the rear bumper low, like on the 88-96 and the 97-03s. With a smooth debadged decklid, it makes a difference. If you go a step further and shave the key hole off (like I did last week), it makes it look even better now.

Oh, and I wish the 04 came in 2-door as well... oh well, there still alright in my book. Although i'd probably go with the GXP with the LS4 to try that platform out.

I do intend on owning a GXP one of these days... heh...

I am limited as to what I can do with my GP at this time... she is my daily driver now and will remain as such for a few years to come. Once situation changes and I have the time I plan to make this machine into something awesome... I want to do a ton of mods and I want to see just how many horses one can squeeze out of the 3800....

All in time... all in time...

I'm betting on an eventual COMPLETE restoration...

At the moment, this is about the only pictures I have. I plan to take some far better ones after I clean and shine the poor thing...

She is a 2004 GP GTP...

Nice Butt.... as I said, I like them from this angle...

As you can see, that dealer logo REALLY has to go... Also needs some new rims... I'm thinking gunmetal or something...

Anyways. I dont like the backs of any of our cars. Now the front of the 97-03's are my favorite!

Now that I am looking at it, I have to agree that the license plate location should be low on the bumper instead of right there in the middle... Still, I think that even though they are stock, the exhaust tips are a huge compliment to the 04's.

On subject of the license plate... that perhaps could be a future project...

as you can see the back end of the 04 kinda flares out over the back wheels and IMO gives it a muscle car look. i love the way it looks from the front on the side looking at the back. pretty much on the front of the car at an angle looking at the back. and the more and more i look at it, it kinda reminds me of a gto. i think it looks damn good, you just gotta look at it from the right angle to really recongise it.

and that girl....pshhhh she aint got SH*T!!! i can go to walmart and find plenty better on the right track tho, i will give you credit for that
