I heard recently that Autozone (at least the ones in my area) will soon be carrying ceramic pads made by one of the big name brake pad companies (I can't remember which one, it's been a few weeks since I was told) and will still carry their Duralast lifetime warranty! That and they will include the stuff that is recommended when new pads are installed.

I'll try to remember to get the name of the company making the pads again next time I go.

Here's a link to the site with a bit of info on them. AutoZone.com | Shopping | Parts | Product Detail - Brake Pads - Front

most companies have the lifetime warranty, just realize the wear part is up to managers (even at autozone from what the local ones say)

They're actually phasing out their Morse pads... I'm going to miss those.

I will agree with Toofastgs that the Hawks are really good!

I will never use ceramic again except for the back.
When i had my gtp i went through brakes like oil changes

EBC were ok sucked untill you got them hot.
Performance friction...never again went through 2 pads in 3 months

When i upgraded to 12" i used the pfc week later bought hawks and have been on the prix since then and the dual piston set up now to the regal

When i had the prix i did many high speed stops 100+ to 0 panic stops hardley any fade.

And it slowed mare car down from 170 ( closed course ) to 80 like it was nothing

I always have had great luck with my performance friction pads, they generally last me about 2 years or so. Never noticed any fade and i've been up to 140 mph a couple times. I guess different driving habit plays a role...
