well, it probably crossed some of your minds. when new people register to the forum, this thread should pop up automatically and make them read it lol. but some of you peeps that have been here a while dont seem to mind answering the same questions, so i guess its all good. ive only been here for like 2 months and seen the same question numerous times.

this thread is like the bible of car modding lol.

and theres no point to this thread, just felt like talking.

Maybe we could have the safely modding thread and the exhaust thread stickied in the intro section so that the newbs see it.

    I agree.
Lately, I have seen people asking the same questions over and over again. When a simple click of the search button or browsing around the site would get the question answered.
People seem to be getting lazier in searching.
There's gotta be something to make them read it when they sign up to join?

This is stickied right in the intro thread. Has all the common info/questions. But yet no one seems to take time to read this.

Unfortunately we can't force people into reading anything or even making them accept the terms ,etc .... As the old saying goes, You can lead a horse to water, but you can't force him to drink it

its like they seem to think that the safe 3.4 setup someone asked about, dosnt apply to them. that somehow it would be different. if there question is not directly answered, they are at a complete loss.

what i REALLY hate, is when they question the wisdom. yes im gonna questions some things, but to argue with the people that do this almost every day and ask the same question over and over and over again, is outragous.

People don't read stickies. This isn't something new.

On a forum I no longer post on (for reasons that are way too detailed to go into here) there was a thread about seller verification to gain access to sell in the classifieds in huge bold red letters stickied at the top of every single forum. We still had people asking every day why they couldn't make a post in the classifieds.

It's stickied in a few places. I think we should be less accomodating. To accept stupidity is to promote stupidity.
